New for the 2024-25 season and in celebration of our tenth anniversary, the New Brunswick Book Awards would like to announce the introduction of a fifth award : The Books for Young Readers Award, generously sponsored by J.D. Irving Ltd.

The Books for Young Readers award will celebrate fiction or nonfiction books published in the previous 12 months for middle grade, (ages 8 to 12) up to young adult (ages 13 to 18). Both traditionally-published and self-published books are welcome, but no e-books, please.

Submissions are now open for books published in 2024 by New Brunswick authors. (See submission guidelines for details.)
