Vanessa Hawkins

A life-long lover of horror, Vanessa wrote her first story when she was in grade five. It was entitled Mutilated and warranted a trip to the school guidance counselor. Since then, she has gone on to write over a dozen publications in the fantasy, horror, steampunk and romance genres. Vanessa garnered the best selling title with her novel The Curious Case of Simon Todd last year, and has won second place in the David Adams Richards Prize for fiction, and honorable mentions in the WFNB writing competition for her novel A Child to Cry Over.
