Biography
Meg is a published writer and emerging playwright with an engaging personal blog called Notes from a Sinking Isthmus.

As a freelance writer Meg has written on film, families, feminism, health, computer technology and everything in between. For ten years she was a regular contributor to the daily newspaper, the Times and Transcript (Moncton, NB), covering council reports for three villages and writing features and news stories.
She also wrote film reviews for Kinesis Magazine for the National Status of Women (Vancouver, BC), NOW Weekly Magazine, Movie/TV Marketing and Festival Magazine. Meg wrote about computer technology and trends for Toronto Computes (Toronto, ON), and she wrote a feature article for Homemaker’s Magazine on childhood immunizations in 1999.

Meg has a Honours BA from University of Toronto in English Literature and Women's Studies, (1986) and a Library Studies Certificate from Memorial University (2016). Meg has experience in administration for non-profit and arts organizations. Most recently she worked for Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre as Membership and Communication Coordinator and Script Library Manager.

Meg's first play, Wrack and Ruin, was a runner up in the NotaBle Acts Playwriting Festival in 2020 receiving a staged reading at the festival. Her second play, RoadKill, had a public reading as part of Live Bait Theatre's New Works Festival in 2021.
