Biography
Jo-Anne Elder is a writer, literary translator, and community worker in Fredericton. In 2018, her chapbook _Blessings_ was published by Frog Hollow Press. She has also published a collection of flash fiction, _Postcards from Ex-Lovers_, and poems and short prose pieces. She has translated over twenty literary works, three of which were finalists for the Governor General’s prize. Her translation of Herménégilde Chiasson’s poetry collection, To Live and Die in Scoudouc, was shortlisted for a New Brunswick Book Award in 2018. Currently, she serves as the Chair of Word Feast Festival and is working on a novel.
