Biography
I was raised in Upper Mills, near St. Stephen, NB and have lived nearly all my life in New Brunswick. After graduating from St. Stephen High School, my career began with teaching until I found my niche with the Correctional Service of Canada. I began writing in retirement. Early successes included essays published in Wising Up Press, the United Church Observer and Chicken Soup for the Soul. My primary focus is now memoir and social history. I like to experiment with different genres, including poetry and fantasy.
