Profile

Biography
I am a botanist, historian and writer, interested in bringing these diverse interests to my poetry and prose. I am now writing full time after 33 years of work in community planning and watershed management. I have been supported in my work by artsnb. My work has won Honorable Mention for the Alfred G. Bailey Prize in Poetry in 2012 and 2013, and First Prize and Third Prize for the same competition in 2016 and 2020 respectively.
