Rosalyn Hyslop
Rosalyn Hyslop is a writer and WFNB director living in Quispamsis. She has completed a draft of her first novel in adult mainstream and one of her second novel in teen fantasy. She also enjoys writing short stories and for children.
Rosalyn completed several writing classes at McMaster University and Mohawk College, while living in Ontario. Since returning home, she has attended many workshops and classes throughout New Brunswick. She has volunteered at the Frye Literary Festival in Moncton, NB, for several years and currently is Chairperson of the Fog Lit Festival for writers and readers in Saint John, NB.
Rosalyn is a member of several local writing groups and is dedicated to developing and uniting the writing community in the Greater Saint John area. She is a volunteer facilitator of a teen book club at the Kennebecasis Public Library. With three children and an understanding of the importance of literacy in young people, Rosalyn also hopes to encourage young minds to explore a world of imagination, creativity and understanding through reading and writing
