Neil Sampson
Background
Lots – with my house having been set so close to the street. Turned out to be a blessing, though. It’s left me with plenty of room for building trails through the woods; flower beds, and garden structures; low rock walls, and features of stone.
Though trying to run a small landscape business can use up valuable time, (Thanks, Revenue Canada), I keep plugging away at writing short stories, essays, and poetry; reading history, geography, theology, and science – breaking only for birding and walking the dogs.
So, yes, that probably was me you saw driving by with a load of soil. If it wasn’t, then come check out my gazebo. You’ll find the dogs here with me. Don’t worry. I’ve told them you’re coming.
Publications
Nashwaak Review. Other than that, I have just finished my second novel, Chicken, baste on a true story. I’ve high hopes for this one. My first book, Stationary, didn’t go anywhere.
