Margaret Patricia Eaton
A graduate of Mount Allison University (B.A., B.Ed) and UNB Fredericton (M.Ed., Counselling), Margaret survived a 32-year career as an educator before embarking on her second career as a writer and feels blessed to be doing, at last, what she’d always dreamed of doing.

As of November 2015, Margaret has written 682 feature articles for various Brunswick News Inc. publications including her weekly “Art Talk” column in the Moncton Times & Transcript; for Atlantic Books Today magazine, and for PrimeTime Magazine, edited by Rayanne Brennan. Her poems have appeared in literary journals, including The Nashwaak Review; and in anthologies, most recently in Under the Mulberry Tree (2014, Quattro Books).
Proudest moment to date: winning 1st Prize in the individual poem category of the WFNB Writing Competition (2009) for “Celtic Trilogy.”
