Gwen Martin
Gwen is a long-time writer, editor and project manager. She has authored thick tomes, lively political speeches, boring government reports, million-dollar grant proposals and scientific papers for clients across Canada. Along the way she has written four books (one in its 4th printing) and edited about two dozen others (fiction and nonfiction).
In October 2014 she became Executive Director of the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick. The job brought much joy, new friends and few days off. She left that position in December 2015, returning to her freelance writing and editing career. She also presents and organizes popular workshops on writing and editing.
Gwen is a professional member of The Writers’ Union of Canada, Professional Writers Association of Canada, and Canadian Science Writers Association. As a member of WFNB’s Writers in the Schools Program, she enjoys encouraging young people to fall in love with words.
