Eric lives at Long Reach on the St. John River. He enjoys canoeing and singing, and combining these with heritage activities. He grows and loves potatoes and is a firm believer in their power.
His initial novel, Akmenhenik, is historical fiction about the first European settlers in New Brunswick. This novel, set during the period of first contact, portrays life for both the Wolastoqivik and the French fur traders, and the result of their meeting on two individuals and their communities.
