Andy Flanagan
Andy Flanagan was born in the small rural New Brunswick community of Belledune. He grew up in a maritime setting, next to the sea. As a child, the beach and the bay were his playground. The salt in his past is obvious in many of his current writings.
After graduating from high school he studied business and completed an apprenticeship program in finance. He has written a lifetime of short stories and a number of manuscripts. He has had numerous stories published in local and national newsprint, and on the CBC website. Andy recently released a short story e-book entitled How I “Laerned” to Read, published by Fierce Ink Press.
Andy is a director with the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick. He is an active member in several national and provincial bodies and is an executive member of a local environmental association.
