Times & Transcript writer Linda Hersey recently sat down with WFNB’s Executive Director, Cathy Fynn. The resulting article appeared in the Moncton Times & Transcript on 25 June 2016….
Serving the WFNB as executive director since November 2015 is Cathy Fynn of Saint John, a familiar face with this organization. With plenty of experience as a copywriter and project manager, she decided to take on the challenge.
“I worked with the organization, and the executive director wanted to leave because she had other projects to pursue. So they asked me, and because I have the experience as a project manager, I know how to manage projects and budgets and I understand the creative side as well.
“This was a great opportunity because I love working with writers. I love the field of writing and I believe writing really matters. Writers transform people and ideas and the world.”
