What I Offer
Over the past few years with Wisp,my experience has been very productive and well received. I usually offer either a variety of writing activities to larger classroom groups and specialized writing workshops to limited groups (10-12 students) of more advanced and interested participants. The class activities are more suitedstarting with grades 3 and up since the children need a bit of vocabulary, although most teachers helping out normally provides for incentive motivated participation. Overall the sessions have been well received by students and teachers alike whether in French Immersion of regular classes. Several writing exercises can be copied to be repeated over time.
