Born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada, Rhonda graduated from Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology in Oshawa, Ontario with a diploma in public relations in 1987.
Upon graduation, Rhonda returned home to practice public relations in Moncton. She also worked in graphic design and related fields until 1995 when she decided to spend some years at home freelancing while raising her three children. More recently, study with the Institute for Children’s Literature helped revive her adolescent dream of making her living writing for young adults and middle-grade children.
Through her company, Codepoet Media, Rhonda offers freelance writing services and has self-published three books: a YA novel, Rachel’s Manifesto, plus two picture storybooks entitled Please Let Me In, and Brussels Sprouts for Breakfast.
Rhonda’s work has appeared in Moncton This Week, Cottage Life Magazine, PrimeTime (magazine), Bread n’ Molasses, Cargo Literary, Faith Today, and United Church Observer; and on CBC radio.
