As both a photographer and a writer, I focus on capturing and sharing cherished memories through both visual and verbal images. My goal is to create images that speak to, and for, you, the client.
I am addicted to learning and have spent a lifetime studying, practicing and improving my skills as a photographer and writer. Although I have three degrees, two certificates and a professional designation, I still feel it is essential to continue learning and evolving both professionally and personally. Whether it is attending workshops like Brazil on Focus, participating in on-line or in-person courses, or undertaking a self-study program, continuing education is a huge part of my life and something that benefits my clients as well.
My talents have been used by professional societies, retail businesses, tourism entities, exhibition centres, and sport organizations. I have served as the public relations liaison for the Canadian Equestrian Team at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, 2006 and provided a similar service to the Kubota Cup Canadian Show Jumping Series in 2005-2006.
I recently completed a four-year contract as Manager of the Princess Louise Park Show Centre in Sussex, NB, where I provided marketing and public relations services to increase usage and profitability of the centre as well as to increase awareness locally, provincially and regionally. By the end of the contract, rentals for the facility had increased by 300% and the seasonal calendar was filled.
Among other clients, I currently provide media and member relations services for the New Brunswick Equestrian Association, including researching, writing and distributing a monthly members’ newsletter.
